ย่อลิงก์ให้สั้นลงด้วย Google URL Shortener

ทุกวันนี้ Twitter และ Facebook เรียกได้ว่าก้าวเข้ามาในชีวิตของทุกๆคน มันช่วยให้โลกของข่าวสารนั้นก้าวหน้าไปอย่างรวดเร็ว ยิ่งการกระจายข่าวก็แพร่ไปได้เร็วมากๆเช่นกัน หนึ่งบริการที่อยู่คู่กับ Twitter, Facebook หรือการทำให้ URL ของเว็บนั้นๆสั้นลง ประโยชน์ก็เพื่อช่วยให้่สามารถส่งข้อความในจำนวนที่ Twitter กำหนดได้

ตัวอย่างเช่น Twitter กำหนดว่าให้เราสามารถทวีตได้ไม่เกินครั้งละ 140 ตัวอักษร แต่ถ้าลิงก์ที่เราต้องส่งมันเยอะเกินไป เราก็จะพิมพ์เนื้อความอธิบายได้น้อย บริการการย่อ URL ให้สั้นลงจึงเกิดขึ้น เช่น ผมมี URL ที่ชื่อว่า http://facebook.com/iphonemod บางคนอาจจะบอกว่ามันยาวเกินไปเราก็ย่อให้สั้นลงได้

วันนี้ Google เปิดตัวบริการย่อ URL ให้เราได้ใช้บริการแล้ว โดยเข้าไปที่เว็บไซต์ http://goo.gl จากนั้นเราก็คัดลอกลิงก์ที่ยาวๆมาทำให้สั้นได้

จากตัวอย่างผมทำ http://facebook.com/iphonemod ให้สั้นลงเป็น http://goo.gl/INWp ต่อไปเวลาเข้าเว็บเราก็สามารถใช้ตัวนี้แทนได้

บางท่านอาจจะมองว่าทำไปทำไม? ลองนึกดูครับ ถ้าลิงก์มันยาวแบบนี้หละ
