สำหรับท่านที่ต้องการใช้ Tethering หรือการใช้ iPhone OS 3.0 เป็นโมเดมเชื่อมต่ออินเทอร์เน็ตให้กับคอมพิวเตอร์ ถ้าหากท่านยังต้องการใช้มันสามารถใช้ความสามารถนี้ได้ก็อย่าทำการ Upgrade Firmware จาก 3.0 ไปเป็น 3.1 Beta 2 นะครับ
เพราะว่าทีมพัฒนาของ iPhone ได้ปิดช่องโหว่เอาไว้แล้วสำหรับ iPhone OS 3.1 Beta 2 นี้
เอาเป็นว่าถ้าหากต้องการอัปเดตอะไรก็ให้หาข้อมูลให้ครบถ้วน พยายามอ่านก่อนนะที่ iPhonemod ก็มีข้อมูลเยอะพอสมควร หากมีอะไรใหม่ๆออกมาก็อย่าเพิ่งนะครับ
โดยเฉพาะ เวลาที่เสียบ iPhone เข้ากับ iTune ถ้าหากมี Firmware ใหม่ออกมา ห้ามเลยนะครับ ห้ามอัปเดต(ถ้าหากเครื่องของคุณนั้นทำการ Unlocked แล้ว) เพราะว่ามันจะไม่สามารถ Unlock ได้
เพราะว่าเครื่องมือที่ออกมาตอนนี้ยังไม่รองรับ Firmware ล่าสุดที่ทาง Apple ได้ปล่อยออกมาครับ
