ภายหลังจากที่ผู้ใช้ iPhone ตั้งหน้าตั้งตารอคอยแอปพลิเคชั่น Google Voice มาเป็นเวลานาน ล่าสุดนี้มีรายงานข่าวออกมาว่า บริการดังกล่าวได้ถูกสั่งแบนโดย Apple เป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้ว
โดยมีรายงานข่าวออกมาอย่างต่อเนื่องเมื่อวันจันทร์ที่ผ่านมาว่า Apple ได้ทำการสั่งแบนการให้บริการแอปพลิเคชั่น Google Voice บนโทรศัพท์มือถือ iPhone ซึ่งเรื่องนี้ทางตัวแทนจาก Google ก็ได้ออกมากล่าวยืนยันว่า เหตุการณ์ดังกล่าวเป็นเรื่องจริง โดย Apple เอง ไม่ได้เห็นด้วยกับการที่ทาง Google เปิดจำหน่ายแอปพลิเคชั่น Google Voice ผ่านทางร้าน Apple App ตั้งแต่เมื่อ 6 สัปดาห์ก่อน แต่ถึงอย่างไรก็ตาม ทางทีมงานเองก็ยังคงจะพยายามผลักดันให้ผู้ใช้ iPhone สามารถใช้บริการจาก Google ได้ต่อไปในอนาคต ซึ่งนอกเหนือจากแอปพลิเคชั่น Google Voice ที่ถูกสั่งแบนไปแล้วนั้น แอปพลิเคชั่นตัวอื่นๆที่ใช้ Google Voice ก็ถูกยกเลิกตามไปด้วย ซึ่งสาเหตุที่ Apple ทำการบล็อกบริการต่างๆที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ Google Voice นั้น ยังไม่เป็นที่แน่ชัด แต่น่าจะเชื่อมโยงกับทาง AT&T ซึ่งเป็นผู้ให้บริการเครือข่ายของ iPhone ในสหรัฐฯ โดย Google Voice นี้ จะเป็นบริการฟรี ที่อนุญาตให้ผู้ใช้งานสามารถโทรออก, ส่งข้อความ หรือแม้กระทั่งเช็กข้อความเสียง ได้ผ่านทางเบอร์ของ Google ที่แยกต่างหากโดยตรง โดยจุดเด่นหลักของบริการนี้คือ อัตราค่าใช้บริการโทรระหว่างประเทศที่ต่ำกว่าปกติ นอกจากนี้ ยังจะสามารถรับ-ส่งข้อความในรูปแบบของ text messages ได้ฟรีระหว่างเบอร์ของ Google Voice อีกด้วย
แต่ก็มีข่าวดีอยู่เหมือนกันเพราะมีข่าวออกมาแล้วว่า Google Voices โดยชื่อโปรแกรมบนไอโฟนเรียกว่า GV Mobile ได้ถูกอัปโหลดไปที่ Cydia แล้ว ดังนั้นสามารถที่จะติดตั้งและใช้งานได้ เดี๋ยวผมจะลองหาวิธีการทดสอบแล้วนำมาเขียนรีวิวให้ดูนะครับ

AT&T unquestionably has dominance of the market with the iPhone and that’s what SHOULD be looked at…not Apple. Do you believe Apple genuinely worries whether Google offers Google Voice on its platform…. as long as masses are buying their phones – and they’re buying these life-changing gimmicks! I love mine! The dropped phone calls are one too many another (AT&T), but the telephone is stunning! One thing I wish it would have is Flash to play videos from particular web sites!
