Firefox 7 เปิดให้ดาวน์โหลดแล้วทั้ง Windows และ Mac

ปล่อยออกมากันเร็วมากๆสำหรับ Firefox ที่ก่อนหน้าเพิ่งมีการอัปเดต Firefox 5 เมื่อช่วงเดือนมิถุนายนให้ออกมาได้ใช้งานกันหลังจากนั้นไม่นานเกิน 1-2 เดือน Firefox 6 ก็ตามออกมา ล่าสุดในระยะเวลาไม่เกิน 3 เดือน Firefox 7 ก็พร้อมให้ได้ใช้งานทั้ง Windows และ Mac

การเปลี่ยนแปลงหลักในเวอร์ชันนี้คือ ปรับการให้ Firefox 7 นั้นใช้ลดการใช้หน่วยความจำให้น้อยลงหรือเรียกง่ายๆว่ากินแรมน้อยลงนั้นเอง ทำให้เครื่องเหลือแรมแล้วใช้งานได้มากขึ้น
