iPad 2G กล้องหน้า VGA หลัง 5MP รองรับ FaceTime มาต้นปีหน้า?

รายงานจากแหล่งข่าวต่างประเทศแจ้งให้ทราบว่า บ. OmniVision จะผลิตกล้องหน้าและหลังให้กับ iPad 2G และข่าวลือนี้ยังบอกอีกว่า iPad 2G จะเปิดตัวในไตรมาสแรกของปี 2011 โดยที่ iPad รุ่นแรกนั้นได้เปิดตัวเมื่อมกราคม 2553 และขายจริงวันที่ 1 เมษายน 2553 อีกไม่นานก็จะครบรอบ 1 ปีแล้วก็คงจะครบกำหนดของ iPad 2G ที่จะออกมาแล้ว

จากรายงานแจ้งว่า iPad 2G จะมาพร้อมกับกล้องหน้าความละเอียดระดับ VGA และกล้องหลังละเอียด 5MP แน่นอนว่า iPad 2G นั้นจะต้องมีการรองรับ FaceTime อย่างแน่นอน โดยเซนต์เซอร์ของกล้องนั้นจะเป็นชนิด CMOS ซึ่งคุณภาพของภาพระดับดีแถมประหยัดพลังงานด้วย

นอกจากนี้ยังมีรายงานว่า Apple จะผลิต iPad 2G ใน Q 1 2011 จำนวนทั้งหมด 2.5 ล้านเครื่องและ iPhone อีก 23 ล้านเครื่อง และมีการผลิต iPhone สำหรับ Verizon กว่า 6 ล้านเครื่อง

จากรายงานยังไม่ได้แจ้งเรื่องของหน้าจอว่าจะเป็นวัสดุชนิดใด จะเป็น retina display หรือไม่? ก็ยังไม่ทราบเช่นกัน แต่เชื่อว่าความละเอียดจะต้องมากกว่า iPad รุ่นแรกอย่างแน่นอน

    iPad Gen 2 หรือ iPad 2 ไม่ใช่ iPad 2G

    Generation 2 คือ คำเรียกที่เหมาะสม หรือถ้าจะใช้ iPad 2G ให้เขียนให้ถูกต้องว่า iPad 2nd G.
