MacRumors รายงานข้อมูลว่า iPadOS 17.5 สำหรับ iPad Air (รุ่นที่ 6) ชิป M2, iPad Pro ชิป M4 นั้น จะมาพร้อม Build Number 21F84 ที่มีอัปเดตฟีเจอร์ใหม่อย่างการปรับปรุงการสแกนเอกสาร ไม่เหมือนกับ iPadOS 17.5 ที่เพิ่งปล่อยออกมา (Build Number 21F79)
