Redsn0w 0.9 ใกล้คลอดแล้วรองรับการ Jailbreak iPhone OS 3.1.2
เมื่อคืนที่ผ่านมาทาง Musclenerd ได้ส่งข้อความทาง Twitter เกี่ยวกับความเคลื่อนไหวของ Redsn0w 0.9 หลังจากที่เงียบหายไปนานมากๆ ว่าตอนนี้เขาได้รับ source code ของโปรแกรมแล้วกำลังเรียบเรียงแล้วแก้ไขโค็ดอยู่คาดว่าจะปล่อยให้ใช้เร็วๆนี้

..will port it to 3.1.2FW if there’s any interest (mac+win+linux)
จากข้อความที่เขาโพสไว้บอกให้ทราบว่า Redsn0w 0.9 ที่กำลังจะออกมานี้ ฟังก์ชันส่วนใหญ่จะเหมือน Redsn0w 0.8 เพียงแต่ว่าเพิ่มให้สามารถ Jailbreak รองรับ OS 3.1.2 เท่านั้นเอง และก็มีการเปลี่ยนโลโก้ตรง boot ได้ (ใส่โลโก้ตอนบูตได้เหมือนกับที่ทำใน Pwnagetool)
ส่วนสิ่งที่หลายๆคนคาดหวังว่ามันจะช่วยแก้ Tethered iPhone ไหม?
คือตอบคือ ยังคงไม่ได้แก้ตรงจุดนี้ครับ
สำหรับ Redsn0w 0.9 จะมีให้ใช้ทั้งเวอร์ชัน Windows, Mac และ Linux โดยเวอร์ชันวินโดว์จะออกมาก่อนแล้วที่เหลือค่อยจะตามมาครับ ก็คงต้องรอต่อไปว่าเมื่อไหร่มีมีเครื่องมือที่สามารถแก้ปัญหาการรีบูตเครื่องแล้วไม่ให้ติดที่ สาย USB ต่อกับ iTunes คาดว่าก็คงทำได้ แต่ว่าเมื่อไหร่เท่านั้นเอง
